- Ultrastar DC HC580 24TB (WUH722424ALE6L4) — CMR, SATA
- Ultrastar DC HC550 16TB (WUH721816ALE6L4) — CMR, SATA
- Ultrastar DC HC680 27TB (WSH722870ALE604) — UltraSMR, Linux-only
CMR and UltraSMR are different products
The HC680 27TB uses host-managed zoned storage and must run on a Linux host with zoned-aware software; do not specify it for Windows, NVR/DVR or hardware RAID that expects a standard block device. For conventional deployments, the HC580 and HC550 are CMR drives.
