The Ultrastar DC HC580 is Western Digital’s 24TB nearline drive for cloud and enterprise storage. It is a CMR drive, so rebuild and rewrite behaviour stays predictable in RAID and NAS workloads — unlike the UltraSMR HC680, which is a zoned, Linux-only platform.
It fits standard 3.5-inch SATA bays and is typically specified where a customer already runs Ultrastar fleets and wants to keep firmware and behaviour consistent across the set.
New and refurbished stock are quoted separately; condition is stated per line and test evidence is available on request.
