Condition policy

New vs refurbished, never mixed

Condition is the first thing stated on every quote, and stock is graded separately so a batch never ships as something it is not.

  • New — factory sealed, unused, with manufacturer warranty where applicable.
  • Refurbished — tested, health-checked and wiped, covered by our 12-month warranty.
  • Used / pulls — quoted only against a specific requirement, with test data before dispatch.

Process

From requirement to delivery

  1. Send your list — model, quantity and destination.
  2. Confirmation — stock, condition and price within one business day.
  3. Test and pack — drives verified, then packed for export.
  4. Dispatch — tracking shared, DDP or EXW as agreed.

Before dispatch

Every unit tested before it leaves

Enterprise drives go through the same checks whether the order is one unit or a pallet. Documentation is available on request.

  • Health check — full diagnostic pass on every enterprise unit.
  • SMART report — attribute data shared on request before dispatch.
  • Secure erase — previous data wiped to a documented standard.
  • 12-month warranty — stated on the quote, no separate terms sheet.

FAQ

Common questions

Are your drives SMR or CMR?

Both exist in the market, so we state the recording technology on every quote. Enterprise lines such as Exos X and Ultrastar DC are CMR; if a model is SMR it will be labelled as such, and we will flag it if your workload is RAID rebuilds or write-heavy.

Do you carry OEM-firmware drives for Dell, HPE or NetApp systems?

Yes, but firmware matters: arrays from Dell, HPE and NetApp often reject or alarm on generic-OEM drives. Tell us the target system and the exact OEM part number, and we will confirm the firmware revision before quoting.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We quote from single units for sampling up to pallet-level volumes. Unit pricing improves with quantity, so state your target volume and we will quote the matching tier.

Can we get test reports or SMART data before the drives ship?

Yes. For enterprise drives we can share health-check results and SMART attributes before dispatch, and we recommend requesting them for any refurbished batch.

Which shipping terms do you offer?

DDP or EXW depending on destination and your preference. The exact term, carrier and lead time are confirmed on the quote before the order is placed.
