It is a 2.5-inch SAS drive, so it fits SAS backplanes and enterprise arrays. A SATA backplane cannot host it, and it is not a U.2 NVMe drive — confirm the bay and controller before ordering.
For refurbished or new-pull stock, ask for per-serial SMART wear indicators: percentage used and total data written. Batch-level claims are not enough for a production array.
